1 year after the internship
Expansion of awareness of our brands (cosmetics) in the Vietnamese market.
Marketing activities centered on SNS operations and the production of videos and other forms of digital artwork.
Plan and sell beauty products under our own brand names.
Upon the completion of her internship activities, we asked Nhu to work for us on outsourcing agreement. She now helps to engage in SNS operations, which she was doing during her internship, and is also involved in campaigns designed to allow people to sample products available under our own brand names. Each month, we set tasks in advance and, where necessary, communicate with her using a messaging app or an online meeting tool. Since we got to know each other during her internship, she has been able to continue performing her duties within a framework of trust. Having majored in the Japanese language in university, Nhu speaks fluent Japanese but the breadth of her expressions and her communication skill are improving day by day, such that we can exchange opinions unrestrainedly. It makes us very happy to know that a positive partnership was formed through internship activities.
In carrying out activities, we were unsure as to whether we could communicate effectively through just online channels in the beginning.
As we frequently communicated with one another, however, activities were able to be carried out more efficiently than we had imagined, since Nhu herself eagerly worked on her digital artwork and was also highly knowledgeable about SNS operations. Opinions offered by Nhu, who is sociable and possesses a wide range of knowledge, are very valuable in helping us make proposals from the standpoint of local residents and consider and formulate strategies for communicating with users. Ascertaining local trends in real time is also helpful in building relationships with business connections. We are now able to engage in more in-depth marketing activities that reflect local needs and opinions.
We would like to go beyond the framework of SNS and develop more diversified campaigns to promote the sale of our products. While we are working with Nhu at the moment to prepare for a planned campaign, we are confident that her genial temperament, enthusiasm for performing tasks, and the speed at which she carries out her duties will remain at the same levels as she was during her internship, and that her abilities and likeability as a person will continue to help build relationships with clients. We also believe that we need to improve our ability to accept a diverse range of cultures to allow others to work with Japanese people with peace of mind. We feel that it is important to make use of overseas human resources to be able to sensitively respond to trends in the fast-growing markets of ASEAN member countries, and would accordingly like to utilize overseas human resources to a greater degree not just for digital marketing functions but also for the planning and development of products and the cultivation of sales channels.
